Dana White calls Bob Arum ‘a d*** head’ as he mocks Top Rank boss for low TV ratings

UFC president Dana White has reignited his feud with Top Rank boss Bob Arum after branding the 88-year-old a ‘d*** head’.

The two promoters have a long and somewhat tempestuous history, which began almost 20 years ago when the UFC started to become recognised in the mainstream.

Dana White wasted little time in trolling bitter rival Bob Arum

More recently, Arum took aim at White for trying to put events on behind closed doors when it was not deemed safe.

Calling the 50-year-old a ‘cowboy’ for proceeding to trying to put UFC 249 on in spite of Jacare Souza’s positive COVID-19 test, Arum insisted he had ‘very little respect’ for White.

But after hosting the first Top Rank boxing event behind closed doors during the week, White wasted little time during the UFC Fight press conference on Saturday night discussing how unsuccessful his bitter rival was by comparing the ratings to lawn game Cornhole.

“When we first started on ESPN, if you looked at the ESPN totem pole you had NFL, Major League Baseball, NBA [at the top].

“And we were down like, one notch above Cornhole, okay? Now we sit in a much better place on the ESPN totem pole than we did when we signed this deal a year-and-a-half ago.

“Which by the way, Cornhole almost out-rated Top Rank for the other night for their live fights.

“So congratulations to Top Rank and Bob Arum, I’ll give him a shout out.
“Good job Bob, you’re f****** brilliant. You d*** head.”
