Chelsea star N’Golo Kante could be sold this summer.
Claudio Ranieri has told Inter Milan to go out and bust a gut to get Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer.
Inter are planning a three pronged raid on Chelsea – to land France midfielder Kante, defender Emerson and striker Olivier Giroud.
Manager Antonio Conte, who worked with all three at Stamford Bridge, wants to rebuild his Inter side after reaching the Europa League final but losing out to Sevilla, and finishing fourth in Serie A.
Chelsea though have told Inter they want £80m for Kante – and manager Frank Lampard does not want to sell, despite splashing out more than £140m already this summer on Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva – and with Kai Havertz set to arrive this week in another £90 million deal.

Kante’s fame skyrocketed under Ranieri, at Leicester in 2016 when they won the Premier League.
And the veteran Italian coach, who also managed Chelsea and is now in charge at Sampdoria, reckons Inter should now push the boat out to get their man.
The 68 year old said: “Kante would be an excellent acquisition, for Inter Milan certainly, but absolutely for the Italian championship.
“On the pitch Kante is perpetual motion. Generous – and good at recovering and distributing balls.
“He has great qualities. He is not a playmaker, but he never misses a moment of play – because he plays his role with great attention and concentration.”
Emerson is a player Inter are more likely to land for a fee of around £30m – but France striker Giroud, 33, who turned down a move to the San Siro in January, is another player that Lampard does not want to lose.
