The Watford-born fighter is preparing for a bout with Kubrat Pulev, which is likely to take place in either November or December at London’s O2 Arena.

‘AJ’, who recently bumped into WBC champ Tyson Fury in Marbella, also posted videos of himself in the gym.

Joshua last fought in December when he reclaimed his heavyweight titles against Andy Ruiz Jr in their rematch in Saudi Arabia, but he has continued to train hard while he waits to fight again and looks in incredible shape.

He filmed himself on a watt bike while listening to the song Free Mason and reciting some of the lyrics.

Joshua joked that he’s in love with the gym’s punchbag

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic career so far, winning his first world title in 2015, claiming a mammoth victory against Wladimir Klitzchko in 2017 before reclaiming the titles he lost following a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr in June 2019.

He weighed 17st and 9lbs during the defeat to the Mexican-American but dropped to 16st and 13lbs for the rematch in December, which was his lightest weight in five years.

But it looks like Joshua is putting weight back on as he prepares to face ‘The Cobra’ later this year.

Pulev has beaten Hughie Fury, cousin of Tyson, in the past and Hughie’s trainer Peter issued a stern warning to Joshua ahead of the bout against the Bulgarian.

Joshua is favourite to win but Pulev will be no pushover

“Pulev is very cagey and he’ll come in top condition as well, and he’s really up for this fight,” Peter Fury said.

“He’s got a very good jab. He’s a very underestimated boxer is Pulev. He’s very awkward.

“You’ve got to break him down and AJ will have to take chances in this fight, because he’s not going to just simply be able to land that double jab and right hand on Pulev, no matter how sharp he is.

“AJ has got to take it to him and be explosive, but be clever with it. You have to fancy the younger man, but like I said, you can’t put anything past Pulev, because he’s a very cute, professional fighter.

“It’s not a pushover fight this, it’s a serious fight. When people are famous in boxing everyone expects them to win, but it’s not the case in this fight. This fight is a dangerous fight for him. If he doesn’t keep 100 per cent focused, this fight can slip from him again.”
