Tyson Fury’s trainer SugarHill Steward arrived in the UK over the weekend.

The pair have not seen one another face to face since working together to dethrone Deontay Wilder back in February.

Fury won the WBC heavyweight title working with SugarHill and Andy Lee

Late last year, Fury made a big decision to split from Ben Davison and join up with SugarHill.

This partnership proved a success as the ‘Gypsy King’ stopped Wilder in seven rounds to become WBC heavyweight champion in their first fight together.

In the immediate aftermath, Wilder activated his contractual rematch clause to force a third bout between them.

This was initially planned for July, then October, but now looks likely for December – pandemic permitting.

Fury has kept ticking over during this period away from his coach.

Detailing his full routine, he said in a recent WowHydrate advert: “I trained five times a day during lockdown.

“I was doing circuits in the morning for about an hour, then I’d go for a run.

“And then in the afternoon I’d do weights, then straight afterwards I’d got for another run.

“Then in the evening I was a bit bored so I thought I’d go for a 20 mile bike ride, me and the missus.

“So yeah we got pretty fit in lockdown. Managed to keep the weight down, stay active and mentally well.”

Now though, Fury is able to train properly with SugarHill to supervise as they prepare to face Wilder once more.
