Terri Harper once asked for a picture with her idol Natasha Jonas – fast forward seven years and the pair are fighting for a world title.
Eddie Hearn posted a picture on Instagram of Harper as a 16-year-old in 2013 with Jonas who became the first British female boxer to compete at an Olympic Games at London 2012.
Terri Harper will defend her world title against Natasha Jonas
Jonas went on to be beaten by current undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor but certainly inspired others to take up the sport.
Hearn posted the picture along with the caption: “Love this!! 2013 a 16 year old @terri_harper96 asks for a picture with her idol 2012 Olympic medalist @tashatf12 – tonight they face off for the @wbcboxing @ibo_boxing World titles!”

A look around Matchroom Boxing's Fight Camp
Harper, 23, has had a meteoric rise to the top and just last year had to take a job in a fish and chip shop because boxing was not earning her enough money.
She is now 10-0 and world champion after beating Eva Wahlstrom in February.
She will defend her WBC and IBO super-featherweight world titles against the veteran Jonas at Hearn’s Fight Camp on Friday night.
It is the first time two female British fighters have fought for a world title and is the headline fight for the second week of Fight Camp in the garden at Matchroom HQ.
The first fight card last week saw some exceptional bouts which culminated in Ted Cheeseman’s unanimous decision win over Sam Eggington.
