Mike Tyson and Roy Jones have both confirmed they will meet one another in an eight-round exhibition bout in September.
The former world heavyweight champion has not been seen in the ring since 2003 when he lost to journeyman Kevin McBride.

However, after returning to training with legendary MMA trainer Rafael Cordeiro, the 54-year-old is now preparing to face a true legend of the sport.
Jones Jr is a four-weight world champion and won the heavyweight world championship in 2003, the same year Tyson last fought.
He wrote on Instagram: “I am happy that this fight between me and Mike Tyson will happen!
“I was always ready and will be ready this time as well. I want all my fans to support me and tune in. Its gonna [sic] be epic.”

Where is it and will fans be allowed?
The fight will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. Formerly known as Home Depot Center and StubHub Center, the venue is the home of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The $150million venue opened in 2003 and can host 27,000 fans. However, none will be in attendance because of the current situation regarding COVID-19.

When is it?
The fight will take place on September 12 at 9pm ET (1am GMT).
How can I watch it?
Jones and Tyson will be fighting on pay-per-view as well as on multi-media platform, Triller.
The entertainment platform (introduced to rival Tik-Tok) has also obtained exclusive streaming rights to the soon-to-be-released, ten-part docuseries featuring behind-the-scenes, pre-fight footage, releasing two episodes per week leading up to the match.
A three-hour live event airing globally, the Tyson vs. Jones fight is set for eight rounds and will be one of multiple exhilarating fights taking place during the broadcast.

Who else is fighting on the card?
According to US journalist Kevin Iole, a series of bouts featuring boxer vs MMA fighters are being lined up for the undercard.
YouTube star Jake Paul, brother of Logan, has confirmed he will be facing former NBA star Nate Robinson before the main event.
This program will also include iconic musical performances to be announced in the coming weeks.
Will it be a licensed bout?
The exhibition fight has been sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission, although both men will wear larger, 12-ounce gloves.
Roy Jones Jr has told The Athletic he plans to weigh around 205lbs for the bout, making it a heavyweight clash.

Neither man will wear a head guard for the bout, with executive director Andy Foster confirming to Yahoo Sports the mood will be relatively sombre.
“This isn’t a situation where they’re going out there to try to take each other’s heads off,” Foster said.
“They’re just going to be in there moving around the ring and letting fans see these legends.”
