Amir Khan has learned first hand just how difficult it is for a boxer to cross over to MMA.
The former world champion was choked and forced to tap out as he attempted some wrestling at his gym in Bolton on Tuesday.
Khan is probably best off staying in boxing
Muhammad Mokaev (2-0) uploaded the clip of him and Khan competing in the gym, though he appeared to take the session more seriously than Amir.
He quickly wrapped the boxer up in a seemingly uncomforably position on the ground and then proceeded to choke him until he tapped out.
Mokaev posted the video with the caption: “Brother, please stay boxing.”
Khan left a comment simply adding: “Haha.”

Khan’s next fight is currently up in the air.
He recently exchanged words with Kell Brook, though the pair don’t appear likely to ever fight.
Regardless, it appears an MMA crossover is very unlikely for Khan.
